What does intel my graphics cards that don't work with anything?

why would intel make a graphics card that sucks and does not work with a game that is 3 years older than the computer. and why would gateway put it in the damn computer itself?

crap, when i got this i thought i could play games, because i have 256mb shared video ram and 2gigs of system ram, with a very fast cpu.

i cannot even play battlefield 1942 without it screwing up, due to the graphics card.

could it be an compability issue with windows vista?

Intel graphics cards are integrated video chips built into the motherboard to save money. They are not intended for 3D gaming. You need to get a stand-alone video card. You probably have a PCI-Express x16 slot as most new computers do, so I will suggest a few cards in the links below. Some might require a better power supply.
Reply:intel graphics card as u said uses ur RAM as a shared graphics card, it doesn't have any separte memory in it. There is nothing to do with compatability issue with VISTA, try buying a graphics card.

i can imagine how u feel but u should have done some research on systems.
