i have narrowed my search down to these two, please pick me the best? this will help me a lot. thanks in advance.

Go with the first one listed. Its a 512 mb of video memory on the card. the 1gb card is only 256 on the video card and the rest will take up your computers system memory.





Personally I'd recommend you buying a 8600 or an 8500. Much better cards than ATI's crap.





ATI and AMD merged. ATI couldn't write drivers for their own cards when they didn't other things on their minds lol . Now that the focus is divided, its probably going to get even worse haha.





I have been a hard core computer gamer for a long time and I've always stuck with Nvidia. Currently running a 8800GTX.


768 mb. Love the card to death, but I just got it around 7 months ago, and now for 599 is the 9800 :(
Reply:The one from nova tech. Has more RAM. The first one piggybacks on your system memory which is BAD.
