You would obviously need to plug a monitor into it to use it. That should be a given.

To use two video cards at once, you will usually need to enable the second video card. You do this by going to the Display Properties and enabling the second monitor.
Reply:You can use both of them in a dual graphic card configuration. If the card is SLI you can use the SLI bridge or a small DVI/VGA cable (that's if your graphic card has a DVI %26amp; VGA connecetr) that plugs into the DVI connecter on each grapic card. You can only do this if both the graphic cards are the same. Click the link to find out more. http://uk.slizone.com/object/slizone_how...
Reply:Yes a monitor cable will have to be plugged into one of them. You will want to plug it into the better of the two if you know what one it is and should be the newest one installed. It may take a little time for your monitor to respond to it being plugged in. If it doesn't want to read a signal try restarting your computer with the monitor cables plugged in and it should finely start to read a signal. Give it some time though after the restart and the no signal message, it may go past it and if not try restarting again.
