Choosing between 2 different graphics cards?

I have been doing some research on Tom's Hardware and have come down to either selecting between 2x Radeon 3870 in Crossfire Configuration or 2x GeForce 9600 GT 512MB in SLI configuration. Both are rated fairly high on Tom's Hardware and are also fairly priced. The specs do differ between the two however, even though they say they are close in most aspects. Please tell me what you have to think.

Choosing between 2 different graphics cards?
Even though both the cards are of close configuration, nvidia has got every thing in its name to surpass all the other brands in the same configuration.

Nvidia is the master in graphics processors. THE WAY ITS MEANT TO BE PLAYED !

9600 GT is having a GDDR3 ie at above 600 mhz memory speed and is DX 10 at a clock speed of around 2ghz .

I will go with nvidia.
Reply:I'm running 2 BFG 9600gtoc's in sli and i gotta say its probably the most bang your gonna get for your buck. Especially when some cards can cost almost 600$ with basically the same fps rate.
