Are you able to add graphics cards to a server?

My friend is selling me his old server for a couple bucks. i wish to use it as a pc. It has a p4 1.2ghz. 1 gig or ram (it has 4 slots).

I just want to know if i can use it as a regular pc and upgrade the graphics card, as i use photoshop etc. I looked at the mother board and it has a number

SWC-SB 7445 po2. ( i cant tell if its agp or pci and it i can actually add a card). thanks for the help....

Yup. Servers are just normal computers geared more towards file hosting and such. You can add a good graphics card and it will run just like a normal computer. (though you may want to get a faster cpu for photoshop)
Reply:both servers and pc are the same they are computers only difference is the "server" has "server" sofware installed on the computer...so yes any computer with a nick can act as both client and server.
