I am familiar with the basic Radeon and iNvidia graphics card but looking at a new computer I want to buy the graphics card is a 945GM Intel Graphics card and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what that is comparible to in terms of Radeon or iNvidia graphics cards?

That sounds like a motherboard basic onboard graphics card if it is then its not good stick with a good ati radeon or a Nvidia
Reply:It's not a stand-alone graphics card, it's cheap integrated graphics. It's comparable to some very, very, very old Radeon or GeForce2 series cards in terms of performance.
Reply:It doesn't matter if the old onboard video is compatible or not, just make sure your motherboard has the correct PCI slot available, normally a PCI x16.
