Do Asus 8800gt 512mb graphics cards have issues with PCI-Exp slots on old nforce 4 ultra motherboards?

I read in forums that the 8800gt has PCI-EXP v2.0 and it is not entirely bacwards compatible as they claim. Will my old MF4 nforce 4 ultra motherboard which has PCI-EXP v1.0a work with this beauty of a card.

It should work fine in X16 mode. Crappy motherboards run into issues with PCI-e 2.0 cards in a PCI-e x16 slot. An nForce board should be fine.

Your PSU needs at least 22amps on a 12V rail to support the 8800gt, so make sure your PSU can deliver.
