Questions About Dual/Quad Screen Monitors and Graphics Cards?

I have been thinking about building a new computer lately, and one decision I will have to make is my monitor situation:

1. First, what do you prefer, 1, 2, 3, or 4 monitors? Why do you have the setup that you do?

2. How many graphics card(s) will I need? Should I get 1 good graphics card for a dual monitor setup or 2 lesser ones for 4 monitors?

3. Do you think it would be better to buy 4 17inch monitors or 2 22 inch monitors (all LCD). They both come out to roughly the same cost.

4. If I am playing a game and I have 2 graphics cards in SLI, is there a way I can "turn off" the other monitors I am not using and dedicate both cards to one or two monitors to get better performance?

2 monitors because a good graphic card only and can connect 1 monitor ,1 DVI monitor and 1 TV out and the DV connector you can buy a connector that you can plug to a standard 9 pin Monitor so 2 monitors and 1 tv out

buy one ATI graphic card, and then install ATI tray tool. the tray tool will help you how to set up a dual monitor.

the SLI Graphic Card are some output with the single graphic card as I said before.

but SLI graphic card had a better performance than single card also had an expensive price
