Would a BFG NVIDIA nForce 650i Ultra run with 2 Bfg Tech GeForce 8800 GT OC Graphics Cards?





How well would they run?


And would anyone recommend it?

I am pretty sure that board only has 1 pci-e x16 slot...so, no. You would need something that supports SLI, like the 680i, or the 790i. I would go for a 790i chipset board. Most of those have 3 pci-e x16 slots and they are all independent and run at full bandwidth. Whereas some older 680i boards will run SLI, but only one gpu can run at x16 speeds...the other would run at 4/8x speeds.
Reply:Sorry, the 650i only has one pci-express slot, so you can only have one video card. Just put the money from the second gt towards a better single graphics card.
Reply:I think a nVidia motherboard must be compatible with all of its graphic chipsets. Ask a nearby computer retailer.
