What is the difference between agp and pci graphics cards? What are the advantages and dissadvantages of each?

The main difference is the bus speed at which the cards work for processing and displaying graphics. Obviously if you are a serious gamer then an AGP card is more suitable as it operates at a much faster speed. PCI graphics cards are somewhat obsolete now.
