Can you get graphics cards that work in ordinary pci slots ?

you can but its old technology now. make sure the card is pci and not pci express tho.

Hi. I asked the same question about 2 months ago. Despite my PC not being old, I found that all I had was a PCI slot for graphics cards. Try the link below for what probably is one of the most powerful PCI cards left available (the GeForce 6200). And for £40. It plays Doom 3 on high quality without any problems at all. It ain't an ultra hi-tech cutting edge gaming card, but it takes the heat off the CPU when doing anything graphical.
