How do i find out what graphics cards my pc is recognising as fitted and in use?

CONTROL PANEL, SYSTEM, HARDWARE, DEVICE MANAGER and look in DISPLAY ADAPTERS

How do i find out what graphics cards my pc is recognising as fitted and in use?
right click


on my coputer


then las option properties


then device manager


then third option display device


open that u will see the graphics card name
Reply:Right click anywhere on the desktop select properties, select the tab that sets the desktop resolution and on the left hand side bottom you will find the name of the card you are using.
Reply:I think you may have to open up the carcass and physically look.
Reply:depending on your bios at boot you may see at the top of the screen your graphic card
Reply:control panel, systems, device manager, click around man..

Reply:Windows xp....right click your "my computer" and goto "properties",then click "device manager","hardware tab" and click the + next to "display adapters".





You should see the graphics card details there.

Go to here http://www3.sympatico.ca/gtopala and download System information for Windows, play about with the menu bar down the left hand side, it will list and descibe all the bits of hardware on your system.
Reply:If you just installed it, XP will tell you that it found "New Hardware".
