Will two different graphics cards work togther in same computer?

I want to know before any problems arise

Will two different graphics cards work togther in same computer?
I think it depends a lot on the cards themselves, and what they are meant to and able to do. I do know that some computers (for gaming, primarily) are being built with multiple graphics cards.
Reply:I am pretty sure they will. I have done that before for a dual display setup. I am pretty sure they were 2 different manufactured cards too. One AGP %26amp; one PCI, worked fine.


Now I just buy cards that have dual display, and save a slot.
