What is a better cooling choice for graphics cards?

Passive or Active? i just dont know witch one will be better for cooling?

im looking into getting a Radeon 3870 if it helps.

What is a better cooling choice for graphics cards?
Active of course but we need to get a little more in-depth. If your graphics card is a PCI-E then you can get a PCI splitter (if you dont already have an extra PCI-E slot) and throw a PCI cooling card in there. I personally think these are better that liquid cooled because it focuses the cooling where you need it most...right on the processor of the grapchis card.
Reply:i don't recommend water cooling because if there is a itsy small leek, your dead. active fan cooling is usually the best. get one that fits your case, sucks up a lot of air, and is quiet (yes, they are availible)
Reply:Active of course. Active could be water cooling, or just a fan on a heat sink, the heat sink itself is passive.
Reply:try one of those with Zalman fans
